A Riftbound: Spiritforged pre-rift event is a special sealed-play tournament held before the official launch of the Spiritforged set, allowing players to experience the new cards first.

Format: Pre-Event Sealed, 3 Rounds, Best-of-3, 50 minute timers. Participants receive a "Pre-Rift Player Kit," which includes a mini-preconstructed deck, five booster packs, and a promo card. They use these materials to build a deck and then compete against other players in a sealed-deck format, often with prizes for winners. 55.
